NuevoXstream still working well, my box is nearly a year old so it uses a lot of nuevo.

Keith mate, you of ALL people should know you don't have to actually HAVE something not to be interested in it?
Surely the whole point of this HAPPY forum is to freely post about whatever subject we want - within reason of course - and having had D2Mac decoders, Echostars, Manhattans, Technomates, Sly boxes over the past twenty years or more Keith, are you telling me that we cant share views on whichever receivers we like - aren't YOU still interested in other receivers even if you have your Spiderbox mate?

Any news from the team on the progress (or lack of??) would be most welcome...
I appreciate that no news is good news at times of concern, but I think most spider owners would welcome an honest update........be it good or bad???
I guess that the lack of admin posts suggests that the team are still working on it and haven't given up as yet?
But any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure of my facts, but I thought the operation for this set uo is in Albania?
If so, then Trading Standards cannot touch them because they are outside the EU jurisdiction.
But I could bee wrong on this??

maybbe it was a sinister plot by teknomate trying to extract some measure of revenge on Darkman ?
deffo no response from a l s a t ... my sister has been ringing thier number but thier phone is dead .
she also mentioned there was a " b o m b " scare in Harrow recently aswell dunno if that is related somehow to closure of Darkmans shop ?
but news is very grim and my sister says she'll try going over to wilsden rd to see if shop is open tommorrow .
bad news about service+ tho' looks like its the end for spider users incl. myself

time to fire up the good old reliable Dreambox again ...:sifone:

Barney,
I went straight from Technomate to Spider and don't know too much about any other boxes.
I'm assuming Linux and Dreambox are both card sharing?
What would you recommend to replace spider if gone, and which is the easiest to set up and most reliable option?
