improved the language selection system finally it stays dutch after upgrade
no fall back to uk or french...
| improved avi/xvid support, the recording is ok again mediaplayer is once more able to play the dolby digital recorded programs no messages like not supported as i have with
the official 5301 and 5300
the mediatel 5300 was fine as well..
now this 5302 is the best till now
be aware any file that was recorded and shows up as unsupported in mediaplayer still is unsupported. but new recordings and played back in mediaplayer are fine
There is something else a bit weird I have the impression that zapping is much faster
But still not possible to select language in mp4 or mkv subtitles damn
And when i try to play mkv i get unknown codec matroska ??
i think the blind scan is a lot faster with 5302 infact a sat that took
51 min now only taks 23 min.
Still no possibility to select the epg language? Many providers offer epg in several languages, like Digi/RCS do.
Has anyone had problems with this patch. I tried to convert the keys in Multicas but the box started loading data, forever! I backed with exit buttton from the plug-in setup and tried again. Same result. Then I thought there was something wrong with the downloaded patch, so I downloaded it again and tried with it. Now the box won't even start. It checks and keeps on loading... Every now and then the AzBox logo shows and that's it. The box finds the LAN connection, though. On the FAT32 formatted USB stick there aren't those two files, which the box writes during the updating of the firmware. Any ideas how solve this?
disable acceleration..
please format usb stick first i used fat 16 it might make a difference in a similar situation with a not so prestine usb stick
copy as patch.bin from proper source
reformat application area
then install patch
reboot
Yes, make sure it is called patch.bin !!
Thanks MACH5 and Dig Deep!
That made the trick. The first USB stick should have been OK according to the Win 7 but it wasn't. The second stick made it possible. Great!
