News:

Dear customers!

Due to the improvement of services and the future expansion of the current packages of television programs, Bulsatcom has launched a campaign to replace Griffin and Irdeto receivers with receivers based on our new encoding system (Bulcrypt).

The numbers of receivers that need to be replaced are the ones with the following serial numbers:

- GC01Sxxxxxx;
- 00000xxxxxx;
- 000000xxxxx.

The model of receivers to be replaced are:

DL-STB-S100
DL-STB-S200
DL-STB-S1000

The model is specified on the back of the plastic or metal box on the receiver.

Replacement will be carried out for free!

For more information and replacement, please contact the offices of Bulsatcom throughout the country.

During the last few weeks the top managers at Bulsatcom have demonstrated on more than one occasion that they don't really care about their customers by removing Irdeto from a number of channels even though they knew that they had active Irdeto subscribers who had paid for those channels. So don't expect them to be very patient as regards the swapout. Now that they have informed everyone in an official way they will will most probably wait some more time and then switch off Irdeto and Griffin completly (even if not everyone has returned their card and/or receiver). I hope to be wrong but by April I expect them to only have the 'Economic Paket' encoded in Irdeto and that package does not include the Diema (EPL) channels.

Sport 1 was still working just after midnight, but not now (0940hrs GMT) and as Tony says Film 1.1 is now labelled 'Premier' channel - so dont know what thats all a bout but EPG showing quite good films o- in Irdeto 2 & SECA!
Other channels remaining at moment are:-

NED 1, 2, 3,
NET 5
RTL 4, 5, 7, 8
SBS6
Veronica/Disney XD
Een (Showing as 'Radio 2') - but SECA/Viacess anyway!

You are talking about Satellite BG (ex-ITV Partner / ex-Total TV Bulgaria). Bulsatcom are staying on 39E so they don't have to deal with some sort of move!

NGC and discovery and eurosport are still ok as well, as for bulgarian tv its all a bit confusing who owns what to me, there have been so many name changes and mergers I cant work out which channels are part of which package anymore !

Yes Tony I noticed that too - but didnt mention them as they are SECA/Viacess and NOT Irdeto!

Your probably right holroad, I checked using my spider and its using nuevoxstream not irdeto keys, that explains why those channels are still going on my box.
