    Panasonic DVD Ram & linux.

Have tried to play a DVD-RW Ram disk on STB without success that was
recorded on my Pana Combo. Can play them on PC with correct codecs.
Can you install codecs into Linux.

I use these for progams that Partner watches at a different time then wipe.
As a workaround have used an RW then finalised so that it will play on my
STB for the time being. Partner watches these on her PC.

Has any member come across this problem.

    Regards catoro.

I can play the .vro files recorded on DVD-RAM from my Panasonic .
My OS is Linux Mint 64 this comes with all the codec.
But if you are using Ubuntu you may like to take a look at this YouTube video on how to install the Restricted Codec.
