    Recordings not AC3

    Hi
I have made a few recordings on to an ext HDD but none of them have come out in Dolby Digital.
Should they have recorded as AC3 ?
Have I not set something up correctly.
    Thanks.

Make sure the channels you are recording carry a 5.1 sound track to check press audio butten on your remote a number of times to check which track contains ac3 have not had any problem with my recording.

    Hi
Thanks for the reply. I checked and the channel is transmitting 5.1 sound.

If you have another HDD or just an usb stick try them to check if it is that HDD or a more general problem
