    Motorised dish settings for 100cm motorised dish

    I need advice for what would be the highest satelite , and the elevation for the dish in the south wales area as i have set my dish on thor, on usals i have set in my long and lat but my dish is passing the satelite, i think i need to get the elevation right ,but what sure what it is,

    grateful if anyone as any advice

    it does not matter what satellites you use to tweak your signal or align your dish , just use single birds , not paired or grouped sats .

    the reason people use thor is set up true south , but it does not matter what sat you use .

    Hi Velma, As a rule of thumb you look at you're Longatude which would be Westerly in you're case and then look at which Satellite is the nearest one at the same Long. I'min West Wales at 4.6W. and used Atlantic Bird 3 @ 5w. as a reference Satellite. Thor 2/3 @1.0W would be the one if you are 3.0W or less.

    here n wales 4.2 so I use amos at 4w
