Will take it to sat shop let you know outcome. Have i done it right in the order to my above post.

Have a check up of the power supply just to be sure.
Its known that in Cyprus the old humax cant stand the summer and creates such problems.
Also dont forget that is not a brand new receiver.
In worst case scenario you would pay 20-25 euros and be sure that everything is ok in that part.

Snakie got receiver back 10 euros,

He said it was ok Whoops who been messing with it of course its how i bought it second hand and its started to play up. He says its the channels installed. So i just paid and lefted.

Going to put my other dish up this weekend ??? Whats the markings on top of the lnb I know youv'e large 1s and some small 1s whats the distance between them for instance i need to set it at -7.1 that would be - anti clockwise yes. So i need to turn it to which mark for -7.1


This going to be pointed at Hellas.

large are 10 degrees , small are 5 degrees.
put it between the first large and first small mark.
While you look the lnb from the front of the dish, the lnb output must point at your left.
something like mirroring the Q <--this points to your right,its usually like this for hotbird
