How do I transfer Azbox HDD contents to windows HDD?

Ive got a Premium with a 1TB HDD installed. Im having problems with the azbox not seeing the HDD sometimes. So Im going to try reformatting the drive to see if that cures the problem. But Ive got 425GB of stuff on the HDD that I want to keep and it would take tooooooo long to back-up the files to my pc via filezilla through the network.

I have an SATA to USB adaptor that I can use to connect the HDD directly to my xp pc but I cannot access the files to copy.

Ive installed "Ext2IFS_1_11a" on my pc and have given the azbox HDD a drive letter. But when I click on the drive, windows tells me "The disk is not formatted would you like to format it now?" or something to that effect!!

What do I need to do in order to transfer my movies to my pc?

    All the best,
    bulmers
