Well seeing that people longed for a new version of KGD end we have developed and added new features but still needs to be done and improve it and as always as a hobby in our spare time we are just working.
In this version we have focused on the overall speed of the system both in menus, cams and media. And also in our great friend MORSE EPG is an EPG currado spectacular show in the thread that you have more information below details.
I will spell out in broad terms the changes made:
- Fix crond now works correctly from the Panel.
- Fixed formatting DOM now supports firmware changes, the main advantage is that it leaves remains of the firmware and performs the load perfectly, but more importantly is that doing a format of all settings mantiende area network OpenXCAS (cams) , PanelKGD, TelnetKGD ..., ie when getting a new firmware after formatting only have to put a list of compatible channels and set the language and resolution, and the rest will be everything you had before.

- Youtube OK, with the active option reproduction in TCK 0.2 is done much quicker than before.
- Added an option to install from the FTP Skins are downloaded from the same panelKGD below deco sets in standby the only change made by the skin and ultimately can return to the menu and changed the (still not exist in the new FTP skins but will be added on) will keep you informed.
- In the PanelKGD configurations can enable / disable your DaemonEGP this is the charge of carrying the EPG every day at 5 am and put two days of EPG is a default setup can modifcar in another post this all author Morser better explained.
- Added in Scripps PanelKGD manual loading of the EPG makes it instead of waiting to load the EPG at the time stipulated or default there do be patient when the process takes between 3-4 minutes.
It is an experimental firmware we are not the responsibility of the use to which it may give or cause damage, does not contain nails or Nigun emulation type, remember that the viewing platform for payment without a corresponding subscriber is a crime punishable by LAW .

this firmware has a lot of hang ups you have to reboot every now an then

.....and how about a SKY UK/Ireland epg ?
Its available, you just have to configure it.
Im using MEO/ZON from Portugal and works great, 5 days epg, better then AZopen EPG, that was my favorite so far.
For me this firm is the best off all, movies are great with 1080p+dts ( except dts drops problem ), tv zapping is fast and box gui is really fast.
The guys are checking for bugs now and i believe soon will be a new KGD firm.
With the new OSCAM for azbox the zapping speed is unbelievable.
how do i configure it? the language is spanish and i don't read spanish!! can you let me know how i can configure sky epg through kgd?
in the file getepg.conf , located in /PLUGINS/PanelKGD/epg, put the # in front off the d+ spain and remove the # from uk.
thanks for that - thought you might be able to change options in the panel - who knows an update for future versions?? It's taken 20 minutes so far to load sky epg - is this normal?

file now exists but nothing on epg - do i need another file to convert the channel data??
The directory for epg on your usb disk doesn't exist
Type the following command in a telnet session.
mkdir /DATA/usb1/sda1/xmltv
Start now getepg.

directgories r case sensiteve so try "mkdir /DATA/usb1/sda1/XMLTV/"did that earlier and the files are there but there's nothing on the epg! can't understand what i am doing wrong! Help!!
(or u can use harddisk as i do but u gonna have to change epg config)
and if that didnt work try to ssh ur box then
cd /PLUGINS/PanelKGD/scripts/
sh ./getepg.sh
and read log and c the error urself
epg is perfect and little faster
will try to active swap and maybe try priority manger too

Why does it fail to find channels? Is there a look up file missing? The folder is there and has been written to;

These errors indicate failures of memory. Reboot Azbox, login via telnet and write.
cd /PLUGINS/PanelKGD/epg
. /Getepg
What line has enabled in getepg.conf?
