    9000 HD tunner sensitivity

to my suprise this morning at around 6.30,after a blind scan of 7w with my spider 9000, i was able to pick up a coulple of H transponders, V's aren't a problem, nice and clear, JUST COME HOME AT DINNER, AND I'M STILL ABLE TO RECEIVE THE H's.

Has anybody else noticed how sensitive the tunner on this box is.

Will try tonight another blind scan when the signal is usually a lot stronger, from the sat and fingers crossed the H's with the good stuff on will shine through.

I was well surprised when I managed to get ALL the channels from 7w for the first time ever with this box. I used many many other boxes before with my 1.2 channel master dish for not available. Spiderbox just does it easily...same for 4w...

    Hi Iwols,
i'm getting at least 44 /46 quality on 11862v even in the afternoons, jsc sports on12284 v clear , even fox series on 12130v is so so in the day, i'm tempted to tweek the dish to see what will happen, but for the last 5 months i've been meaning to put my new 1.8 channel master dish up, the possibilities of this sat will get me going ... I would not get too over excited.
7w has always been better in summer than winter, it is also better early and late in they day.
It is not something i know why but is the case as i have a 1.2m channel master that is on the limits. during winter I have only ever got 7w all H 60%-70% of the time and in summer i usually get over 90% time, I have a also a 1.8m channel master it gets all H all the time. But lots of good channels a 7w
