are they all compatible as pvr storage for the spider 9000 ?
are they all compatible as pvr storage for the spider 9000 ?
Yes They are.
A couple of things to bear in mind, though none of which have been confirmed not working on the Spiderbox.
a) The USB port does have a finite amount of power available.
b) A drive with it's own power supply will negate this.
c) A drive with 2 USB cables should negate this (1 for power, 1 for data).
d) A 3.5" drive requires much more power.
e) Following what others can confirm working is a good idea.
f) Drives with a "power save" mode may be better turned off or avoided altogether.
Mine for example is a Western Digital "Passport" 2.5" drive with one USB cable, works a treat.
got a western digitial elements 750gb usb 2.0 external hard drive will it work with hd 9000 spider for recording
The best answer will come from yourself, try it and let us know.
I can't see why it should not work though...
