DOS as from in the old days (M$ Disk Operating System) it is the command line window opening (black and white text). The timing issue is between the C S server > internet > and the receiver. below 1000 ms should work below, 300 ms would be good, above 1000 ms is to slow. Nothing much we can do about this on our side.

Look on the technomate forum. It's the one currently under this entitled Canal-digital..... Compass has linked to it several times on this thread.

unpack it to desktop
Plug your Pc to Your TM Receiver (It is compatible with USB To serial for Laptop's)

1.Unpack
2. start CILQUER ICI .exe
3. Depending on your STB you may need to enable SSSP in your receiver Menu or just change channel to activate sssp on TM1500

Coonect my TM6900 to my laptoop through a null modem and USB-RS232 adapter and I am getting error when starts the 'click ici' on Compass utility. Any way to test this may eb to see first the connectivity from laptop to the receiver. Thanks

I have a 6900 hd combo not super and had the same problem loaded it keep saying error tried everything so turn of laptop and tm re started them and all ok just make sure file is up to date as compass is away on holidays he is doing a great job for us hope this helps

Have you looked at the posts regarding changing com port on USB adapter to com 1? It gives unable to open com port (or something similar) if not . Just put Jaz +3 on for the play off final and it's working fine. You should use the latest file also. Is it the same as my 6800HD where you have to enable SSSP mode?

edit: spoke to soon JSC seems to have gone off. At least the football is fta on sportitalia 12.5W

yes tried this and unfortunately no success. I am using the 'JSC,13°E,Canal-Digital0.8°W,28-05-2010_by_Compass' file which I believe is the latest one. I have also changed the 'mpcs.conf' file for tty1 as suggested but no avail.
I have just got the USB/RS232 adapter and not sure if connectivity to receiver is right and the right driver are used. Is their any utility that we can try to test the Laptop/TM6900 connectivity?

The message I am getting 'Portcom error /dev/ttyS0'.

That's exactly what I had. Look at posts 16 & 19. The default USB port when using an adapter isn't com 1 so needs to be changed under device manager.

motherboard comport needs to be changed to allow use of comport1 for usb adapter first
had same problem also change baud rate to same as listed in sssp
works 100% once sorted

Changed to COM1 and baud rate as 115200 as sssp on TM6900 not getting an error but just stopped at the last line below.
