I'm waiting for feedback please on picture quality, as i was thinking of getting a technomate 9600 as i can't afford the dreambox 8000, if the quality of picture is good then i think i'll purchase a Spiderbox off Goldwafers :respect-051:

Picture quality in Hd or Sd as good as or better than Humax iCord,Tecnomate 6900 HD. I have been checking channels that are SD to see am I watching a HD channel the picture is that good. This is on a Sony Bravio W 4000 television. Compared to what I have spent on cards and cams over the years if the Gift cost 1oo pounds I would still consider it good value. TMULL

    Yeah, maybe....

But it still wouldn't be a gift would it?

Please let's stop playing with the words...Gift, present, freebie doesn't matter. That box is the cheapest and the best ever on the market, quality/price/efficiency, nothing to compare and we all know that.
I used TM, Dream 800, Vu, az etc...all very expensive stb's and they give almost the same channels as the spiderbox, (some less....).
So, we must appreciate and enjoy this little brilliant and very cheap stb.:respect-055::respect-040:

The spiderbox may be a good box with lots of channels and it may be good value for money.
    However......

Its not a play on words. something that costs money is NOT a gift, a freebie or a present.

One other definition for GIFT in the dictionary is

"a special ability or capacity; natural endowment; talent:"

Whatever the meaning of GIFT the Spiderbox is an excellent stb
HD & SD is brilliant quality
Plenty of channels loads of footy (in HD),
& more to come (soon). Thanks to the spider team / support behind this box.

Ive had mine for 2 months & I think its paid for itself already!!!
    I honestly cant fault it

    Cheers all

    Billxxx

I think Billlxxx has said all that needs to be said. I can't fault it either. Gift or no gift its still an excellent bit of kit for the money you pay.
