    dvd not working

    dvd is not working in spins up lights up but does not play dvds, i am running image nabilo BH ver12 is there anything else i should load, thanks

    libdvdcss2_1[1].0svn20080519-r0_mipsel.zip

    You'll need to install this before the DVD will work mate.
    Unzip the IPK file and FTP to /tmp folder then manually install.

    DVD should work fine after that.

    i installed from tmp through nabilo BH addons menu

    went in to device manager it says dvd not found could this be a wiring problem

    I know this may sound stupid but have you turned the box off and on at the back after installing the file from Goldwafers?

    yes i did turn off at the rear,i am checking the obvious before stripping it down. thanks

    I had problems with my dvd player and Nabilosat BH not recognising it. Try loading a dvd into the player and turn off power at the switch at the back of your box. Turn the power back on and the box will reboot and should mount your dvd player. You do need the libdvdcss file installed to play commercial dvds.

    sorted thank god,it was the sata cable on main board not seated properly.thanks for advice in the replies
