    firmware upgrade

    i have got the azbox elite
    when i go to firware upgrade it only allows me to go up to 0.9.3887 but i have seen on the forum that there are later upgrades than this anyone know why its only allowing me up to this one

    copy to USB-stick. Rename to patch.bin. upgrade from USB

    or edit the download url on the box and download directly...

    Best tool to use is the Telesat Azboz Control Center... works very well...

    i went the usb way as it was the easiest for me to understand being a newbie to this

    does this now mean i will have to upgrade this way from now on

    editing the url via the blue button in settings is easier and you will automatically see the new firmwares when released

    The latest official firmware is found at the default URL. You can change this from www.whatever it is (can't remember) with the green (?) button. Change the www. to fw and that does it (you should now have _http://fw.azupd.com (without the leadign "_")

    However, please note that many users (myself included) reported a bug (quel surprise!) that meant the download failed at about 22%. With the latest firmware I don't know if it still fails as I've packed my box away for now.

    Hi Andy, no all you have to do is on the FW upgrade page if you are on the internet setting there is an option to edit URL (green button I think).
    Just change the www Bit to fw & you should get all the update choices in the list.
