    usals ?

I have had my dm800 for over 2 years now and this week decided to set usals , this worked perfect , but today i noticed even tho i have not changed the settings it is moving the dish a liitle to far past each satellite.

I can see the signal come to say 90% then this will keep moving and signal will drop off to 50/60% .

I cant understand why its changed even tho the long and lat are still the same and it worked perfect the other day .

    weird

Is your setup outside still ok? It might have shifted slightly especially if you're seeing the same offset on all sats.

weird one this .... the dish has been up there for about 4 years now , we had some snow on sunday but no bad wind .

it confusing the hell out of me .

it looks like i need to make it move a few deg east as if i select a say 0.8 west i will see the singanl go up and than move past but if i then select 28.2 the signal will get to say 50% and i will have to add a few deg manually to make it come up to 90%.

which entry do i need to change ?

As Prontopro said, something in your outside setup could have given way slightly. As you did not loose signal altogether I wouldn't worry so much and just alter longitude setting in the tuner setup. As a general rule, if you have to move dish to the west (Positioner Setup>Positioner Fine movement) to better the signal, you have to increase your longitude to the east (in tuner setup) and to the west if you have to move to the east to fine tune.

Make sure you have the correct Lon & Lat settings.
    Use multimap.com
    Enter your post code
Then under the MAP you'll see the correct Lon & Lat settings for your location.

Example if you entered Manchester instead of an actual postal code you get the following:

    Postcode district:M1 2
    Grid ref: SJ845982
    Lat: 53:28:51N (53.48079)
    Lon: 2:14:04W (-2.23434)

So you'd enter the following into your positioner settings on Dreambox

    Lat: 53.480
    North

    Lon: 2.234
    West

to get a good strong signal i have to move the dish with fine tune a little west on each sat so

would I add to say E.G.

    Lon: 2:14:04W (-2.23434)

delete some from my so for EG 2.234 will now be 2.224 ?

That's it. If your longitude setting (in tuner setup) is 2.234west at the moment, try putting it at 2.200west and see how it goes. If its too much, go anywhere in between. I would go 0.100 at a time till it maximises and then fine tune.

but if you dish isnt correctly aligned EXACTLT the co-ordinates will be wrong, just play about with thevalues until you get the 95% sig - i went through the same thing yesterday myself....
