Azbox needs a storage for streaming, it actually records the stream on to the storage.
I have two memory sticks here, a 2GB and 8gb.With the 2GB cheap one, streaming breaks after a few seconds. But with my 8GB micro SD memory card, streaming works fine in windows XP.

iwols this is what i got azbox premium with 500gbhdd,belkin wi-fi router and laptop with vista to get it working i have to do following
1 start streaming after entering my pc ip address
2 turn off firewall on router
3 turn off norton firewall on laptop
    4 start windows firewall
    5 open vlc version 1.3
6 select udp input my laptop ip and set port to 9000
7 open show more options on same page
8 insert 1000ms and 5 seconds in other time box
    9 click on play
and lo and behold streaming occurs after a few seconds at the moment just set it up to watch burnley match on canal sport extra 1 west
can,t suggest any thing else sir

As far as i know is streaming handled like recording by the software. So you can change channels without stop streaming only if they are on the same transponder.
