Yes Sorry forgot to say about that ( you have Old Remote ) you will need to update your Remote.
Look on Forum Sponsor or on 123 it might be yours.

    Has Octagon ever provided support??
Sorry, just had to make that comment.

Though the firmware for all the above has the same origin, for me the firmware for GI-890 has been the most stable. No crashes at all like the latter ones from Octagon and others.
Just noticed that firmwares at 108.xx and above does not work. At least not with gisoct. The box hangs after reboot at "Run Protection". Tried Next, Optibox and GI-890 versions. All with the same result.
    Using SAB 107.30 right now.

Excuse my ignorance. I am quite experienced with software but not with sat recs. I'd be very grateful for some assistance.

I understand it is necessary to change to bootloader. Is that correct? For example, if the Octagon has 0015, it needs to be changed to 0012 for Koscom or 0030 for Next? How is that done?

Best regards to everyone on the board.

Many thanks to Freebe for the PM.

You Don't need to change the Bootloader to ( xxxxxxx ) Only if you have Problems.
The Small ( Loader ) programm that you will need go(s) around the Bootloader and input Only the Firmware.

Am now using Next2000 firmware version 107.40 with Octagon 918 (as I have the old remote.) Everything seems to work okay. I've tried just about everything to get later versions of the software to work, totally without success. I guess that's about how far this box can be pushed. :(
