bug on 1500+ with latest firmware

just loaded latest firm on my 1500+ all is fine except stb wont turn off by remote. Ive reloaded firm but still the same went back to previous ver and switch off with remote back is this a bug compass m8.

I get a similar bug with recent patches on my TM1000ci. For me, the box won't turn on or off using the remote or the power button on the front of the box. If I revert to version 304p, the problem goes away.

No Problem here with 308p Remote works perfectly.

Which version 1500CI or 1500CI Super ?

I updated my bruvs 1500CI Super this morning with the 308p update
with no problems,works well.

perhapes a fresh dl of the file and a re install might fix the problem ?.

For me this problem occurs with 307p as well, so it's not connected with a single file. I did a factory reset on my box, but this made no difference. I know that in the past people with these sorts of problems have been advised to put original TM firmware on their box and then patch it fresh with the latest firmware, but I haven't got round to this yet.

Of course, it could be linked to specific hardware, so maybe this bug only affects certain boxes.

The bug is only on the older models since the 2.6 Via emu came out works fine on super

some boxes lose this function on recent patches, most dont though, except mine !

Well my 1500CI+ seems to suffer but as Satpaul says probably cos its an older model TM-1500CIHO4~917

OOPs sorry m8s the 308p does work for me as Compass says. Its previous patches I should have made clear as in my first post. I was trying to get a patch to show sssp for me to try and have a play with the SBLC soft but while I thought there was a patch where I saw sssp show in options for the 1500 i must have been mistaken cos Ive tried those in my archive unless Ive missed one.

Is there any way to patch the early versions as I too can not run any patchs after version 304????? without machine refusing to power on or off. :o10:

Try what Weston Calling suggested. Install an official image, factory re-set and try again. It worked with a 1500 of someone I know.

But no joy after installing the official patch and factory reset.
Box still doesn't respond to remote on/off or the on off switch on front off the unit.

shouldnt you be doing this anyway ?

after all , you arent watching it whilst asleep

use a mains powered clock timer and turn off unused appliances overnight , works for me on several appliances including my dvd recorder

seems little point in wasting electric by having these things on when you are shoring away !! LOL
