well
can t work with 2.1.3 here
it logins to the server fine but i does not request ecms.....
started it via telnet.....
maybe it s got to do whether the server is on linux or a stb
mine is on linux
anyone tested it with a linux server 2.1.3 and works?
@Leerock I had the same problem trying to run via telnet after a reboot and allowed to start via plugins worked a treat. But not via telnet
I connect to a 2.1.3 server.
My server is on Debian and I could see the connection but no ecm's going through when runing via telnet.
I set all the settings mentioned in this tread first.

After full test:
Way better/faster then Multicas:respect-040:
It's a keeper
ok the problem was that i should put mgcamd a priority up above multicas
and WOW!!!!
it s much more stable here!!!!
and slightly faster zapping on all packages....
Sly, nova, cyfra...
Great!!!!!!
mgcamd works fine, my problem was that I put 1.35 instead 1.35a
After a bit more testing it seems that it does not work stable enough with 2.1.3.....
After about 15 minutes it started freezing....
Same case with some old multicas versions that couldnt deal well with 2.1.3
I'm using a 2.1.3 debian server and not one freeze all night NDS 28.2 with latest firmware.
This cam for me is much better on 2.1.3 with smargo readers then MultiCas it handles the higher ecm's that MultiCas can't .
I do admit I go four pixelation's in 4 hours. my dreambox on cccam also did at the same time and that was a .440 ecm time.
I have set all the settings for priority list and cfg files mentioned at the start of this post but not the ignore list.
I did read problems with connecting to server on dreambox cccam 2.1.3
also I have no other cam or plugin enabled .
Although I am running rsync to copy my music and avi's to the harddrive at the same time from my server. So I expect my network and receivers cpu is working hard.
thanks :respect-049:

hi
i have followed all the steps here - thanks to all. but there are still few glitches when left for while on same channel. but it may be peer setup. is there anyway to check which peer cline is been used something similar to ccaminfo php but for this?
tried w/2.1.3 srv and back to Multi. freezes while recording :(
I've tried this version, but I come back to the old 1.33.
If I connect to Oscam server, or to cccam server (my DB7000), I have freeze every 5-10 minutes.
May someone post the right config file?
Who can explain how to configure 2 different mgcamd version at the same time on the same azbox, I've tried this configuration:
/EMU/OpenXCAS
|->mgcamd
|->mgcamd135
|->MultiCAS
|->sh
|addons.conf
|module.seq
[module.seq]
Code:mgcamd #mgcamd135 #MultiCAS
[opencas.conf] inside mgcamd (bin is called "mgcamd")
[module]
name = mgcamd
daemon = mgcamd
version = 1.33
# argument = -
[opencas.conf] inside mgcamd135 (bin is called "mgcamd135")
The mgcamd135 bis was started but if I check the mgcamd log, stops after few steps, it can't connect to server.If a rename mgcamd135 (everything) to mgcamd everythings works (with freezes)[module]
name = mgcamd135
daemon = mgcamd135
version = 1.35a
# argument = -a 3
cfg files are in this topic main settings:
mg.cfg
G: { 32 } #CCcam client alone
G: { 33 } # CCam and Newcamd
G: { 41 } # CCcam, Newcamd, Gbox
Pick one off the above
P: { 02 } #CCcam, Newcamd, Radegast, Gbox
Problems reported with Cccam server 2.12 and 2.13 when server is in dreambox, if those versions are in a linux server all ok.
Hi, which version newcs is the best for using in azbox hd?
No it s not ok
I m connecting to a linux 2.1.3 ubuntu linux server
the first 5-10 are fine with fast zapping and stability...
but after that, i get constant freezes....
when it gets to this point... it even struggles to reconnect...
even after reboot
tried all settings mentioned in here...
even smudger s , who s reporting no problems
Same here, leerock. Once it starts with troubles - not easy to reconnect, easy to "lose it again" etc.
Speaking as a lay person: "memory leak" or some such problem?

Hi Goran, all,
I have 2 questions:
1. If I need to use it ONLY as a CCCam client and not Gbox, do I need to touch/edit peer.cfg as you suggetsed below?
M: { my.dyndns.org { mypass}}
#
D: { peer’sserver.dyndns.something { myport hisport { hispass { A3 A3 }}}}
D: { peer’sserver.dyndns.something { myport hisport { hispass { A3 A3 }}}}
2. Does Mgcamd 1.35a depends on the FW version (i.e. I am with 3911, which is little bit old)
What I did so far is:
1. Edit the mg_cfg:
- G: { 32 }
- P: { 02 }
2. Renamed cccamd.list.example to cccamd.list and added my C line:
C: peer.DynDNS.something port username password
3. Send them to mgcamd folder
4. Gave CHMOD -> 755 to all files
NO Any luck so far...looking for the problem..
Cheers!
Haven't checked memory goran but i don t think this is the case...
Coz once the freezes get started, after you kill mgcamd, multicas struggles to reconnect too...
Even after reboot...
You have to wait a few minutes and then try again...
Seems like sth is happening on server site..
Don t know how to say it in english...
It s like the server is blacklisting a specific client that shows strange behaviour, for a few minutes...
thanks a lot leerock,
Well then strange..seem all is done correctly, but it doesnt start at all.
Multicas and CCCam 2.1.1 work though..
What might be the issue?
