    Icon14 Internet TV on my 42 Inch Monitor

    I ordered a couple of cables VGA and 3.5mm Phonos to connect my laptop to my Sharp Aquos TV.
    Cables where cheap couple of quid each, auto synched TV on connecting and picture fine.
    Connected couple of Internet TV programs picture and sound Ok also tried slide show with pics from xmas useful when family visit

    But what do you get from internet?
    Anything worth watching?

    Read On TV movie player wear these for some of the content and TVU player

    I used to use VGA cables on my 42" but the picture quality was complete rcrap compaired to my newlaptop's HDMI out....

    Interesting about HDMI. I use S-Video + 3.5jack. Its OK but not perfect.
    Must make sure I check for HDMI when I change laptops.
    I also put old movies on a flash USB stick and run them through my TM6900HD. Works with some files but not others?
    I will look into it more when I get a better download speed as my local exchange is not unbundled and runs on steam power I think.

    Probably the best option to watch the film would be something like WD TV.

    I have looking at some ads, and it seemd to be the best option. It supports many formats and even if you come across a format which is not supported, there is always good s/w to change it.
