If not then why not wait a while and then see what the people say about it,
[after they have used it for a while that is]..
In the end it's YOUR choice..
Think ye need to look at this for what it is...well spec'd box for the money and takin the linux nightmare out of picture is a real + the extra's!...for what they are 30+quid is cheaper than any card option that may go '****up' anyway...so given that ye have HD and CS options...as above if ye have dought ...tis time to sit back and await the reviews.

I guess it is produced by Dags/ Itgate.
When you look at the Skin in the first series of pictures you can see the infinite symbol that looks a lot like the front of the latest Itgate boxes.
The Koreans are renown for producing a lot of OEM so I think that this box (if it successful) is going to be duplicated under many brands.
What you are saying about Linux boxes is untrue, there is sometimes good hardware, as in the CubeRevo/IP but the software is lacking user friendliness (but we are getting there, thanx to TDT and other enthusiasts)
Even if you have failed boxes like the QBox or AZ, with a strict business plan and support from the community you could turn things round.
The other receiver to watch is the new Marusys (OEM producer for Kathrein) who has a MIPS processor, a Twintuner and E2.
So good luck with your receiver, I hope you deliver on your promises.
Sorry mate , i dont understand WTF that is ... they say first impressions last and my first thoughts on the looks of this box was " it looks like a ferguson video star piano key video recorder"

seeing as this seems to be turning into a war of words AND there is no more mileage in it as all the correct info has been provided I am closing this thread before it degenerates into areas we do not wish to go
if you like the new features and want to buy it then please do so
if you dont like the looks despite what is inside the box then dont buy it
some retro looks like the roberts radio are back in fashion , and at the end of the day as barney says its what it does that counts , not what it looks like, buy a gold bar ingot if you want something valuable that looks nice , and they are retro too
but to ask if it has a wire from the remote to the box is asking for troublenuff said
