    Not Saving Keys

Somehow Digitv keys not saving on TM6900 HD Super +, 688p, I have done the followings: on/off few times, power on/off few times, add manually few time, add keys with softcam, still not saving the Digitv Keys.
Yes I have turned OFF all AU's as well...
    Anyone have any idea why???

    Regards...

digit tv should be left to au.
mine au fine with 688p patch.
I always do a factory reset after loading then reload channel list and softcam

    explain some more not saving
you have the recent keys downloaded on the computer
put these on a usb stick
put the USB stick in front of the 6900HD super
pressed the USB button on the remote controller
if you have a USB hard disc hooked up, you select the [/volume1]

you select that file on the usb stick:

    and press OK
Don't press Upload Key: this will save the key from the box on the stick.

If that did not work, download this empty softcam, and put it in the receiver
Empty Softcam Technomate <= click here
should clean out and set all to zero, then reload a regular softcam.

Why not use [CTechMaker 4.3 ] You can Edit the softcam no problem

Sometimes they are not fast ? Upto You?

    Hi all,

I have the same problem as Gentlmen....

I'm a newbie to this reciever and not had it long, so still learning...

I have the original firmware ver 688 (not patched) and after entering the keys for Digitv and exiting the cam menus the keys don't save

Is is not possible to enter the keys manually & save them with the remote on the original firmware?

Also, how do I add a Biss Key For TVCA La Gomera?

I have come from an Echostar AD3000IP Via Reciever where I could just enter the keys in the cam menu or by chossing Current Channel Keys Edit but on the TM6900 HD Super + when I press ok on Current Channel Keys Edit nothing happens

Should it work on the original firmware or can this only be done on patched firmware?

    Regards

    Phil

normally not, it is a safe practice to have your (motorized) dish settings on paper and a backup of your channel list.
