    Updating Innovation

I want to update firmware on my Innovation...I have loader 1.50 and new firmware saved on memory stick...when I insert in USB slot. will the receiver load the loader first and then the firmware or should I do it 2 separate stages...
Also, If I do a channel save before loading new firmware, are any saved satellite positions saved as well...?
Can someone give me newbie to Innovation guide to updating software...thanks

It's two seperate updates, Loader and firmware.

    Do the Loader first.

Quickest way is to boot with USB stick in receiver, then just use the front panel navigation controls to select each update.

Don't remove the USB until receiver has finished programming and is rebooting.

Channel Save also saves dish positions.

Thanks for your reply Xanadu...I have just checked on my receiver, and the loader version is V1.5.0 and software version is V1.0.3...
I believe loader version is the current one, so all I have to do is load new software...Correct ?...
