Help with Firmware update
I'm using a ClarkeTech HD5000C Plus.
Current firmware version 162p.
Got the firmware file (179p) from the post by Glenn_911 (Thanks)
My problem is I don't know what to do with it. I've tried what I think should be the process but the firmware won't update in the 'Information' screen.
Can some please help with a step-by-step guide for me and if possible for my receiver.

did you unpack the file?
put it on a USB stick (fat32 formated)?
Fat32format 1.05 & Win GUI fat32format 1.0.1.0 <= click here (windows software)
think you must have a menu option to access the file put on the usb stick? select it and press ok

Yeah - did that.
Thought I had the right place in the menu to upload the file but the firmware version hasn't changed.

on Technomate it is datatransfer? you should see it writting several times.
