    Serial Mode: sssp

    shown on TM-6900 HD, guess it is very similar on other Technomates that have recent patches updated and have sssp

    when using sss(p) programs you have to set technomate to use this feature

    goto Main Menu in Installation select Option

    select Serial Mode and press (OK) on remote

    in Serial Mode

    select SSSP

    leave the menu's and select one of the channels that should work with the program

    Filters in SSSP

    you can also apply filters while using SSSP:

    in Menu Option while switched Serial Mode set to SSSP you have the option Filter set to Auto

    switch to User

    you can now Edit Filter do this once.

    caid = used cam: seca, nagra
    Prov Id = Provider of channel / bouquet

    And now the beauty <= click here :respect-040:

    or you could try with filter with for each bouquet that is opened with SSSP and use the appropriate CAID and Prov ID (provider ident)

    some of this info can be found in CCcam.providers and Fausto_CAIDS.TXT or other places.
    Always try to prevent a clash between Cams

    just change the channel to activate.

    some model receivers require you to enable sssp in receiver menu or a simple channel change enables sssp.

    Problems? Errors?

    portcom error:
    change the comport to 1 or Change the config used in the program to use the assigned comport. In Cilquer Ici this would be in the mpcs.conf (open with notepad)
    and change this line:[serial]Device=au://tuner@/dev/ttyS0
    Code:
    Port  Serial      Hex N°
    COM1  /dev/ttyS0  3F8
    COM2  /dev/ttyS1  2F8
    COM3  /dev/ttyS2  3E8
    COM4  /dev/ttyS3  2E8
    Comport parameters (Computer)
    Speed: 128000 (if this does not work: Use lower speed : 115200, 57600, 38400, 19200)
    data: 8, parity: None, stop: 1, data control: None

    Poll Error: not in SSSP mode
    If you have to set Menu: Option in Technomate make sure Serial Mode is set to: SSSP and not RS232

    I set up a blank filter and the performance on Bulsat went from occasionally freezing to being PERFECT.

    Thanks Giga.

    Hi joany,

    Can I ask what you mean with a blank fliter? I am having some timing issues sometimes, but not all of the time. If I can put on a "blank filter" then that may correct it.

    Thanks

    Was getting C/Ned fine this morning - but this afternoon only clearing part of the time. Often getting 2000ms, is there a way to improve this. Eurosport HD Dutch 23.5 opens fine though - and stays open as long as you stay on the channel - even if you turn the computer off.

    Hi Giga,

    Those forum links appear to be dead....

    What info do I need to put into the filter section? Will the filter help the freezing problem?

    Thanks

    could relieve server getting wrong requests, speeding up replies
    avoiding conflict with Emu & Softcam key
    keep this empty softcam on your stick/hard disc together with latest one so you can easy switch when needed.

    I'm trying to change the com port from default and understand that I need to
    access the mpcs config of the Cliquer ici and change a line to config this. My problem is, not being completely gened up, how do I get into this programme to chnage the line? In my folder it comes back the PC needs to know what programme to use to access the file.
    Sorry to be a little thick, but any guidance appreciated.

    Best wishes from,

    Gibson.

    look for this file and open it with notepad: mpcs.conf

    Device=au://tuner@/dev/ttyS0

    change the last digit according to the used comport:
    0 = comport 1
    1 = comport 2
    2 = comport 3
    3 = comport 4
