    help! i cant find the arc

    hi m8s
    I need your advise,i can move motor to 3.5w 1w 5e 13e 39e but it wont find anything between 13 and39e any help would be greatfully recieved

    Is your mast vertical ??

    Not only in the front to back axis but side to side as well.

    If thats the problem then great... otherwise a lot more info about the dish / mount / motor would help

    Also your location position , what sat you have used as zero, inc & dec settings... and so on.

    If you can get both 13E and 39E you must be tracking the arc in between. Check there are no buildings/trees or anything else obstructing the reception.

    It's not tracking the arc properly.

    Unless we know more about the dish and mount/positioner type we can't offer much more help.

    If you are using an elevation mount it's normally set to your locations latitude, as this is the setting that allows the dish to track the arc.
    The other setting is inclination and declination so you can raise or lower the tracking angle.
