anyone help with Italian translation?

trying to deal with an italian company, the guys english isn`t the best - he has replied in broken english, any idea what this bit means?

"Before that days are active pass 4-5, next week I cannot send xchè are all sluices for ferie! "

You sure he isn't French? Sounds like he is talking about the holidays. Next week is a holiday for many. The 15th is a national holiday.

it will take between 4 to 5 days ,he can not offer any assistence for next week as they will be closed for pubblic holidays[ferie d'agosto]
In august everything is closed for two weeks they call them ferie d'agosto ,it is very well know this in Italy
I'm italian so I know what he is talking about
