    Cuberevo HD/ipbox 9000hd

What has happened to this box out of interest? Just wondered how much support this box has got now that its been out for a year?

There is obviously a lot of activity regarding azbox hd on this forum but very little on the former. Some one line dealers are reducing the cost on their sites.

I hope other non DM boxes do take off as what we need is a little bit of competition to dreambox.

Im hoping to upload some new images soon as ive been really busy on the DIY front!

Ive been advised the latest sifteam version of E2 is working really well with cam slots working now

Incubus camd is working well & there's talk of the card slot driver fixes are also being worked on

So good progress is being made in the right direction

Using mine with latest sifteam enigma2 image on flash.

Working great with IncubusCamd connected to CCcam server.

Just like having a twin tuner dreambox but not with the silly price tag.

So do you think the hardware is as good /better/worse than the azbox?
Obviously the software will be more advanced as its been out a year.
Would the 1080p (azbox) vs 1080i be a factor in terms of picture quality?

Only if you intend watching Blu-Ray movie rips, as there are no satellite channels broadcasing in 1080p

    All 1080p Flat Panel's Upscale any progressive/interlaced Signal, to 1080 p (Progressive) !
So, if a the receiver doesn't output 1080p, The panel will Do it !

Upscaling does not make any program look like a Blu-Ray in 1080p.

Use IPBo***00 with S2 and T tyner about 2months. Last NLB soft is better, but still have problems. Dont know about Azbox but when you want use own media files IPBox is not best solution. Waiting new E2 soft maybe its better.

    gasth404,

Had the AB ipbox 9000hd for a few days since upgrading from my Dreambox 7020.
The picture quality on HD and even standard SD picture is excellent . I have have found the NLB menus not the best . Just loaded enigma E2 but have found the boot up to be slow . I have issues with USB stick mounting any pointers.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Had the box for a few weeks now . Support I would say is good just a matter of findingt the best forums and support . There are about three /four different versions of images . HD picture is excellent and even standard blows by old Technomate away.

    Cheers :respect-010:
