TM 6900 HD Combo Super v Protek 9600

Hello can anyone help.

I have the TM 6800 HD and wish to upgrade.

I am interested in LAN connection via server.
Should I go for the Protek 9600 IP which seem to be well supported by forums or the Technomate.

Well I've got the TM6900+HD COMBO - NOT THE SUPER - and a great stb it is.:respect-067:
I've also got the Protek 6900 IP and that is a great stb is well. :respect-067:
You should really consider which way u want to go? i.e cams and cards or c/s! or go both!! I have and it is great @ the moment Protek has the edge over TM + cams and cards. I cannot really say anything about the 6900+SUPER as I dont have one but that is supposed to be a c/s although I don't know the extent of the support for that.

I am thinking of a new approach but not sure in which direction I should head!

You need the Super version with the ethernet connection M8 - the plain original stb does NOT have that facillity built in!:respect-050:

The 9600IP is great for clearing 15+ packages, but it is not HD.

Personally I have the 9600IP and TM6900HD (not Super) with Diablo2.3

This combination is best of both worlds
