Couple things I noticed :
MultiCAS has a key file embedded, meaning,if there is not key.bin file present,it will read the internal (into emu_module) and will dump it into the multicas folder automatically.
If there is a key.bin present, this is the one that will load at startup.
The file format is similar to most other boxes, like octagon,vantage,etc,but...
the file size for multicas is 35kb,while all others use 64 kb.
The octagon editor work, but the saved file size will not be correct.
Does anyone know of a multicas key file editor?
I actually learned a bit about the key file
irdeto
Code:
5F6001004F5246202020202020202020202020200000000004BB4867324021B7
[.........channel name in ascii.........][provid] [ Id ][ key.........]
The keys layout is more or less the same for all encryptions.
I have problems to understand how does biss keys need to be entered, while seem obvious, entering keys manually is not working, nor is provided a way to enter channel names but only with a hex editor.
is the emu using the original channel name that it gets at scan?
Is there anywhere to read more about multicas emu?
is there a home forum or website?
