Recording HD Issues?

I am having some problems with live pause and hard drive recording on
the azbox hd, these features work fine with standard
definition tv but on hd channels the picture becomes jerky and drops
out when the live pause or record feature is active. In addition the
controls for the box become unresponsive or slow which suggests to me
that its working flat out processing the media stream. I have tried
updating the firmware to the latest version I could find (9.1314) and
I have tried 2 hard drives, a 500Gb maxtor diamondmax11 and a 160GB
seagate. I also tried formating both drives with the set top box but
it didn't improve the problems. I also tried playing some HD movie
clips and there were frequent frame drops, I do appreciate that the
software is in its early stages but would like to know if anyone else has had a problem?

Use 0.9.1387 or wait for the new Firmware (coming verry verry soon)

But there is no mention in notes of this release fixing the issues that joshjess was asking about or that netgic suggested it would.

Maybe there is something coming that will be more of a quantum leap

Anyone knows how to mount a remote cifs share on Azbox Elite HD to use as PVR?
