tune failed ?

i use dm 800 with nabilo 0,7 image all sly ch okay but when i try to view hd channels it says tune failed only way to view is to rescan then watch but once box in standby and on again back to the beginning again is there any way to solve this problem thanks

hi vilev i did a epg update for a week and hd ch are ok at the moment but i have unplugged the box for 5 minutes i will turn it on shortly and will let you know what happens

It's a big bug in the box. many many people has the same error

Yep happens to me as well. I have to reboot and thats the only way the tuner comes back. Using latest Gemini image.

If you have a set up with a motor on your dish, you can also select a different satellite and then hte tuner starts to work again. I suspect that you could also go to the menu and setup then channel search option and then hte SATFINDER menu to kickstart the tuner power.

I find if i select another channel from diffrent provider on the same sat , it will start to work again

The DM8000 also suffers from tuning failed messages.

Another reason not to spend £900.
