    OK Guys...

Things have changed with our Sammy you NO longer need to go thru the whole old routine for Loading the S/W Updates .....
just use this Tool for everything:....

You know you have to use a Straight Serial Cable and NOT a Null Modem one..Right..?

Here is the latest S/W Version 8.2:..

Last but NOT least the Ram Bin.
So I have Posted one here:.

Load the S/W and RAM*bin using the Tool above.

Here is the Editor with my Settings Dated Jan.09:..

You will have to Configurate the LNB's to suit your needs.

Just to be Safe I have given you the Flash procedure.

HOW TO FLASH YOUR SAMMY PROPERLY AND GET THE AU TO DO ITS MAGIC!!!

[Remember: switch your Sammy off at the back BEFORE and AFTER you program the EMU in! Do not hurry, do not cut corners, if you want it all to work properly!

After Sammy has cooled down a bit [say 2 - 3 minutes] switch it on at the back and keep it on Standby.

Now start the STUDIO 1.4 by MAHDI and go to DSR FW Loader and Send FW, then choose the Emu you want to put in [in this case the excellent 8.2] and Open -> to put the EMU in.
Wait for the clock on Sammy display, do not rush...!!!

When you start Sammy via a remote go to RESET EMU [again: via a remote] by pressing 0 + Menu quickly in succession, then go down to RESET TO EMU DEFAULTS and press the OK button on your remote.

(After it resets you can go back to EMU MENU to make sure you have the following configuration:

    EMU - ON
    EMM - ON
    CAID Mode - AUTO
CS Mode - SSSP [if you need that one or HSIC if you're sh*ring via the Hummy CS SW]
EMU Active Mode - NO CARD [One doesn't need the Conax Card nowadays!])

Put Sammy to Standby and then kill at the back for a couple of minutes.

Restart your Sammy at the back, then leave it on Standby.

Now put the RAM *bin in [Cruiser's are excellent] if you need to, then start Sammy via Remote.

Icon14 No probs: good luck, m8!!!

Hey, man, no worries. I've seen it done [my work taken to many other boards without any acknowledgement] many times before. Rarely do people ask for permission and I do not mind that at all, as it was intended to be shared, the info for all, to help if I can... A credit is cool, of course, and I for one know a chap with good will when I see one! You certainly are, so absolutely no worries!!!

Stay well and keep it up, the hobby needs people like you, newbies certainly and we were all newbies at some point!!!

All the best and thanx for continuing with the work - I have given my Sammy away... https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?t=101613
