Humax Foxsat HDR with Sly dish ?

    Hello All,

I have a sly dish with twin LNB.
The sly dish feeds a sly hd box, but can it also feed a Humax Foxsat HDR?

    Many thanks,
    norton850

    can it also
    Hi norton850

Short answer .... No, you need to change the twin lnb for a quad (with 4 outputs)

Longer answer... you can fit a switch to each lead and thus divert the lnb signals to one or the other (but you will only be able to use one box at a time)

    Thanks AJR,

The Sly equipment has now passed its one year warantee so it now belongs to me.
Can I fit a quad LNB to the Sly dish and do you know where I can get one?

    Many thanks,
    norton850

Yes you can ... and you will need to run 2 new cables to the Foxsat

And I'm only allowed to mention our forum sponsor goldwafers who have the lnb... link at the top of the page
