Does anyone know why you cant edit the favorites list while in non-freesat mode. I want to build my own favorites lists but can only do it when in freesat mode and with freesat channels. When in non freesat mode the favorites editing is greyed out. Is there a secret menu or another way of building your favorites list ?

There is no favorite list available in 'non freesat mode' ... there is a kinda list that stores channels that you have viewed (which IMHO is next to useless)
Sooooo I can only suggest you do as others have done and send an email to humax and complain about the lack of features when using the box in the mode that was built in to the receiver.
I can send you the humax email address if you don't have it
