Satellite Web Import (no longer functional)
Kos Web Import no longer functional See first posting
Warning: make first a copy from your STB and keep it in a safe place. If you did not install your STB and dish, (fixed lnb's or motorised): the advice is take note on paper what your setup is for these.
For this demo you would need the Terrestrial Only Empty channellist (TM-6900 HD COMBO Super) that you can find the file here <= weblink
or if you don't have terrestrial on your STB you can download the empty file here <= weblink, and jump over the parts regarding terrestrial frequencies, channels & programs.
First load an empty channellist (no assigned satllites) in Clarke Tech Studio.
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...01OpenList.jpg
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...lOnlyEmpty.jpg
as you can see it contains only terrestrial frequencies.
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...requencies.jpg
and has no satellites.
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...epageempty.jpg
now starts the fun part: Importing a satellite. Open from the program menu: Import
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u.../005Import.jpg
Select in the import popup Web
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...6SelectWeb.jpg
and select Intelsat 10-02 satellite (for demo purpose, later you can add satellites you want)
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...ort/00710W.jpg
It will download and ask if you want this to add to the list: press Yes (ja it is a Dutch Windows XP)
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...urrentList.jpg
when it has finished it will tell you what is added.
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...13channels.jpg
now you have to change the satellite info to your dish installation!! Double click in the satellite listing on the Intelsat 10-02.

Empty Channellist for TM-6900 HD Combo Super
Do not install this channellist on your STB if you have not a working copy of your current channellist!
No satellites are assigned in this channel list. It has only a list of Terrestrial frequencies for DVB-T. It is used for building your own channellist from scratch using the web import feature of the Clarke Tech Studio
for TM 6000 super Combo (terrestrial receiver)
don't use a channellist from combo receivers (DVB-S & DVB-T ) on a satellite receiver only:
the STB reboots when you try to access a terrestrial channel (does not know how to handle these)
Satellite Web Import (part 2)
If you are not using Usuals the first to change is:

now select your DiSEqC switch, if you have one.

One small problem with the webdownload it also downloads C Band (typical C band satellite uses 3.7–4.2 GHz) transponders. And TM6900 does not handle those. So the way to remove these is like this. Select the transponder list form the menu. (1st icon left of the sat disch icon (satellite list))
The C Band transponders have programs listed (green color icon)
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...ansponders.jpg
these can not be deleted while programs are listed in the transponders. Switch to the program list (123 icon left of transponder icon). Right mouse click on the program list and select Order: By Transponder Frequency
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...ransponder.jpg
confirm order only selected element

The C-Band programs showing first, Look at the transponder frequency: 3985

and the first non C Band frequency

and deleting those: right mouse click on the selection: Delete: Selected

After importing a satellite, a lot of favourites are created. Technomate now can only handle 16:
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...yfavorites.jpg
Deleting surplus, select favourites 1 by 1 over N° 16 and delete this favourite.
http://i654.photobucket.com/albums/u...teprograms.jpg
Your done with this satellite position.
You can repeat these steps, just select every time a new satellite position in the satellite list. 2,3,4 ...
Pilot Switch: HD Transponder
sometimes when moving a channellist from one model to another model the HD channels no longer open. The reason is the Pilot switch in the channellist and how a box deals with them. Example could be: Transfering a channellist from TM 6900 HD Super to a TM 6800 HD non Super. If this happens check the pilot switch or changed this flag, 99% the channel now opens if it did on the originating box.
in the TM 6900 HD super: (Origin box)

for the TM 6800 HD: (Destination box)

3.12 web import not functioning
found that if web import did not function this was related to: Malawarebytes' Antymalware 1.44 protection is blocking the smart.dll.
It looks like a false positive, see results below. The best way to overcome this problem. With Malawarebytes perform a fast scan. You should find 2 references after the scan is completed.- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Micro soft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Share dDLLs\C:\WINDOWS\system32\Smart.d ll (Trojan.Agent)
- C:\WINDOWS\system32\Smart.dll (Trojan.Agent)
Select both in the results windows and press ignore. These are now in the ignore list and the Clarke Tech Studio should import from KoS.

Terrestrial frequency adding
Clark Tech Editor Studio is now able to insert terrestrial channels, this was not possible with previous versions (or I did not find/see it)
When inserting a transponder under Transmission you can now select:
- DVB-S
- DVB-S2 8psk
- DVB-S2 qpsk
- Terrestrial
