Has anyone else noticed reception of ESPN Caribbean 901 & 902 has worsened considerably this past few months?
I have 1.1M dish in North Lincs + TM5402HD M3 using patch 138P 15/9.:nopity:

Seems OK here on a 1.2m.
Are you sure your dish hasn't been knocked out of alignment ?
Cheers mate, will check & report back, but many other 'borderline' signals elsewhere not too bad!
Thanks again!
Ok here on West Wales coast --- I have found that the lnb needs to be skewed slightly to the left when looking straight at the dish instead of to the right for all other birds on the arc ??
1.3 prime focus dish at ground level.

I looked up the footprint on Lyn g sat and it should come in on a 60cm dish over N. Europe (including England).
The footprint doesn't show a drop off until you get to Scotland and Western/Northern Ireland.
The Met data shows you have had some fairly dense clouds passing overhead at times and if the higher levels contain ice crystals that will attenuate the signal.
Fair comment mate, but I have ALWAYS found the 2 ESPN 901/2 frequency to be much weaker than most other TP's on 15W!
There have even been other threads on this very subject, I believe!
Didn't manage to get out to check dish today after all, has also been very windy in North Lincs.
Will have another go tomorrow!
like these channels must update k3y$ ,only problem is the letterbox veiw
Currently the reception is at an usual level. But I have noticed that the strongness of the signal is varying a lot when monitoring these channels over a period of e.g. two months.
i have lost the frequency on these, can anyone remind me what they are to try it?
thanks

I'm certainly finding it a lot weaker than it used to be.
On a similar topic is The Fight Network still on this sat? I've now got no signal on 11611H 4054 3/4 S2 8psk and I've already tweaked my 1.8m dish and LNB.
11611 H DVB-S2/8PSK 4055 3/4 Fight Network HD
Can someone please confirm TFN is still on that transponder. I've got zero signal.
That annoyed me for ages but then I discovered that it was because my DM800 was set to PAL. OpenPLI has a setting automatic which detects the weird USA type pixel ratio of ESPN and shows it OK.
My Sony TV also has a picture size option which allows ESPN to fill the screen correctly but I have to set that whenever I switch to or from a European signal.
Just out of interest, all FTA (and ESPNs ;-) ) on 15W are showing very similar signal strengths except Zagros which is a bit stronger.
but do you get a signal on the TFN channel?
11611H DVB-S2/8PSK 4055 3/4 Fight Network HD
If so is it weaker or stronger than the others?
Thanks that accounts for it. ESPNs are marginal for me ATM at 45%. I need about 40% for a lock and 11611H will be more difficult as it is DVB-S2 :(
I've never had a problem with this channel before. I've obviously upset something swopping my C-Band LNB back to the Ku band one a few days ago even though I've peaked it again.
Signals all above 87% for me on ESPN And 91% on Fight Network

Cheers barney - and all you others - but I'm still finding NO signal on ESPN channels, 75% on Fight Network yet not opening even though I wasn't aware of any key changes on PV? - most other channels e.g. Gunaz, opening fine with 79-85% plus - so its STILL really only ESPN x 2 failing for ME guys! However they are ALL fluctuating a bit, so still MAY be dish not quite plumb on.
Been mega windy today, so will see what weathers like tomorrow and maybe check my 1.1M dish!
Well the signal strength on this sat is getting stranger and stranger.
Yesterday, I had about 45% on my DUO2 on ESPN and zero on TFN.
Today, in much worse weather I've now got 75% on ESPN and 15% on TFN - not enough to lock.
I've tweaked the dish/LNB and all checked all connections.
Next I connected my old DUO to exactly the same LNB feed and am getting 75% on ESPN (same) but a huge 65% on TFN.
I guess this indicates a problem with the tuner on my DUO2 on this specific frequency as I've not got an issue on any other sats?
Can someone please confirm or suggest another possible cause?
EDIT
I've just swopped the LNB feed to the second tuner on my DUO2 and there is still a very weak signal on this transponder. so either both tuners are faulty or it is the image. I'll try a different image.
